Filmed and edited in 23hrs as part of the 48hr film challenge 2014. #ManCan has reached the finals at this years Raindance Film Festival – 24th September to the 5th October – Piccadilly Circus, London. Directed by Simon Rawson, Produced by Lee D Barnes. Starring Dan Wilson and Asha Evans. Featuring the sensational AJ Brown with his hit single ‘Brighter Days’ and additional music by Aemaeth. Public Interest Pictures offered a unique opportunity for Los Angeles cause-driven nonprofits to tell their stories. 8 nonprofits were paired with 8 filmmakers who wrote, produced, shot, and edited a short film in just 48 hours. – a 501(c)3 non-profit conservation organization with a mission to protect the honeybees and inspire and educate urban beekeepers – was paired with filmmaking team Melanie Lim and Ryan Bautista. Their collaboration resulted in a first place finish.
